Robert Hendren

“I have had the privilege of serving Pine Hill Church as a Deacon for over 50 years.  During this time, I have served as deacon under several pastors and consider the office of deacon a serious and blessed calling.  Regardless of who has been pastor, I have always tried to remain committed to God and the church in my service.”

Bobby Miller

“I consider it an honor and privilege to be serving as a deacon for fifty plus years at Pine Hill Baptist Church.  God has really blessed me and my family over the years.  I am very proud to be involved with such a prayerful and giving church.  I was fortunate enough to make two different trips to Florida as part of the disaster team to assist and minister to some of the hurricane families.  I truly enjoy being a part of Pine Hill’s church family, serving with the past and present pastors and fellow deacons.”

Ray Smith

“I was ordained as a deacon many years ago. In fact, Pine Hill is the only church I’ve ever known and attended.  Loving the church, my church family, and always supporting the pastor of our church are some things that I am so blessed to do.  It has always been a blessing for me through the many years to serve my church.”

Terrel Hendren

“I was raised in Pine Hill Baptist Church from birth.  Through the years, I’ve seen the church give whenever the need arises at a level much greater than most churches its size.  It’s an honor now to have the ability to serve in the role of a deacon to help maintain this ministry.  Hopefully, the love that the church shows will be a light to the community and the surrounding area letting them see the love of Christ.”

Donnie Armstrong

“To be a deacon means to serve and it is certainly an honor being a deacon at a church that is so full of love and a church so giving makes it even more special and so much easier.  I am proud of my church and my church family and it makes me so happy to serve.”

Steve Braden

“I’ve had the privilege of serving the Lord with my Church family at Pine Hill. It’s humbling to see the love and support that this Church offers. I answered the call too be a Deacon and look forward to what the Lord has in store for this Church. I pray that the Lord continues to bless us as we serve him, our pastor, congregation, and community.”

Deron Hendren

I have attended Pine Hill my entire life, and have served in various roles throughout the years.  I love my church and my church family.  As a deacon, I want to continue to serve the church and see it continue to be a light to the community and world as Jesus commands us. During my life, I have witnessed our church deacons, past and present, provide the example of true servants of the church, and hope to continue in their footsteps.
